Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. In the years since he gained fame for his role on Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. These include The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Alongside his role on Road Trip he has played in 22 different TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived that he was diagnosed with when he was 14 years old. Qualls is a fighter. Two years after treatment, the cancer is now in the process of remission. The initial treatment was very detrimental on his health as well as stunted development. At the time he started to take action, financial stability appeared to be his objective. He had been in poverty throughout his early years. I've lived so frugally and for so long, I'm able been able to enjoy that financial security or else the world seems uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. He also reminisces about his childhood to motivate him. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. In real life and on screen, DJ would like to play the role of a father. However, he admits that "Directors do not cast me in these roles." It's a dream to someday be a parent himself, when you can spend much less time working and spend more time with his son.
